In May, the project’s first workshop was held in Cavtat, Croatia, with project members, scientists, and professionals giving interesting presentations about the project’s activities and challenges.
In the first part of the workshop, project members assoc. prof. Ivo Haladin PhD, Maja Banicek PhD and Krešimir Burnać presented project background, goals, and activities. They also provided an overview of vibroacoustic characterization of tramway monitoring data and numerical models for condition monitoring and predicting track degradation.
A special thank you to our experts prof. Stasha Jovanovic PhD, Ron Maas and Nenad Trifunović, for their contribution in the second part of the workshop. They presented their work and experience related to vehicle-track interaction measurement, in-service vehicle condition monitoring, machine learning, and their implementation in the industry.
Following the presentations, the workshop participants were involved in an interesting discussion.
We’d like to thank everyone who participated in and contributed to the successful workshop, and we are looking forward to the future project events.
