Our URITMIS project leader, assis. prof. Ivo Haladin, PhD successfully presented new findings in our research with the paper titled
“Detection and evaluation of switches & crossings on tramway infrastructure from vibration signals using machine learning techniques”
on the 31st International Congress on Sound and Vibration hashtag ICSV31, held in Icheon, Korea 6 – 11 July 2025.

The conference was a great opportunity for prof. Haladin to present the current project findings and results connected to the machine learning techniques for evaluation of S&C’s using in-service tram vehicle vibrations with other colleagues and professionals from the associated research area.
Many thanks goes to Hrvatska zaklada za znanost (Croatian Science Foundation) for financially supporting the URITMIS project and making it possible to share our research progress on the big stage such as #ICSV31 conference.
